Marc by Marc Jacobs spring/summer 2011 campaign, shot by Juergen Teller and featuring Ginta Lapina and Andrej Pejic. Love the bright colors, desert atmosphere and 70s feel.
I saw this photoshoot of model/stylist Lindsey Calla at altamira, a break from his spontaneously captured model off-duty looks. So I went and checked out her blog Saucy Glossie as well - too cute. She has great style!
Classics with a preppy/androgynous/minimalist twist, Lyn Devon's new collection for spring features quirky dresses in bright colors that pop for day or night. I love the chartreuse green, dull yellow, orangey red and of course the black and white contrast. Almost like Céline, but without the exponentially high price tag. Treat yourself to an easy wardrobe here.
Creativity and innovation in fashion like no other - from wild prints and colorful textures to classic camel-colored minimalism, the style setters in this city hit the whole range. I tried to pick a favorite look but it's almost too hard, maybe a tie between the 3rd and 4th images? Je ne sais pas!
I first discovered the work of Carlo van de Roer when he was one of 10 photographers exhibited at 2010's International Festival of Fashion & Photography in Hyères, France. His images were dreamy, colorful polaroid portraits - and I immediately had to go see more. See the festival's website here or Roer's own here.
